About our company

Initially the business was run by Daniel from his parents’ home in Bristol and he soon found he needed assistance, bringing in his father Kenneth as a business partner. As the business fast developed a reputation for excellence, gaining a number of new clients and expanding further into the South West, Daniel and his father Kenneth decided to incorporate RelyOn Guarding and Security Services Ltd in 2004. With great forethought, the company bought domains and registered a number of RelyOn branded companies in order to protect the seeds of an idea regarding the direction the company might take in the future.

Due to the success of the security business, many clients had approached Daniel to enquire about providing cleaning services, which in turn lead to the founding of RelyOn Cleaning Services as a partnership in 2002. Kenneth passed away in 2016 but the partnership continues with an impressive client base across the country.

As the list of clients for the guarding and cleaning businesses increased, so did the need for professional Health and Safety support, with RelyOn Safety Services Limited eventually being founded in 2017 to provide support to not only the RelyOn businesses but also, its core client base. RelyOn Safety Services continues to grow each year offering Health and Safety support and consultancy to clients nationwide.

With many clients now receiving multiple services from RelyOn’s businesses, it identified a need for maintenance and facilities management services to allow us to provide complete solutions for our clients. In 2021 RelyOn Services was formed as a branch of the existing businesses and began offering reactive and planned maintenance to a number of clients. The business started trading in its own right as a limited company in 2023 and continues to grow steadily providing a wide range of facilities management services.
